Having the flexibility to reschedule and cancel your appointments is one of the biggest perks Bewdy is proud to offer you.

Of course, managing appointments in this way – rescheduling and cancelling – impacts our partners, the professionals who work hard to deliver their best service. If we see unusual behaviour from a client, like not turning up or cancelling frequently, at short notice, it’s our responsibility to step in.

If you’ve made several last-minute cancellations, missed multiple appointments, or already have two ‘Pay at venue’ bookings coming up, you’ll need to pay for your appointment before attending it.

Often our salons are independent businesses, so failing to attend an appointment, or cancelling last minute affects more than just their schedule – they’ve kept that slot just for you, after all. By introducing pre-pay at this stage, we can reduce the impact on business owners, while continuing to give our clients the perfect beauty wellness experience.

Booking an appointment on our App is pretty much easy is as easy.

1. Decide where you’d like to book
There are over 100 businesses on Bewdy across Lagos, Nigeria. To find the one for you, you can filter your search results by treatment type, price, location, discount availability, review score, whether the venue is "Top Rated" and much more - we give you the power to search depending on your own priorities.
2. Choose a date, time and team member
Once you’ve found “the one” and have selected a treatment, you’ll need to choose a date and time.
3. Choose your payment method
After providing your contact details, you can choose how you’d like to pay for the appointment on the checkout page. Most businesses will give you the option to pay at the venue.
4. Checkout
Finally, once you’ve checked the booking terms and conditions, and selected your marketing preferences, just click “Book now”. You’ll receive a confirmation email about the booking, it will appear in your app, and the salon will be made aware.

To schedule treatments for multiple individuals at the same time

You would need to make two bookings under the names of each person attending. This is necessary to ensure that they are scheduled concurrently. If two treatments are booked under one name, the system will automatically think that it is one person attending the treatment, and so the appointments will come one after the other.

It's true that all good things must come to an end, but this doesn't have to be the case for your favourite salon experiences. With Bewdy, you can keep coming back for your most-loved treatments time and time again!
It couldn't be easier to rebook your favourite venue with us - there are two simple ways to do it:
1. Go to "My Bookings" on the app and scroll to find the one you wish to rebook. From there, you'll be able to click "Book again" and choose the time and date that suits you.
2. On your Bewdyapp homepage, you'll see a recent history of your bookings, and you'll be able to select the one you'd like to book again.

Notice a payment error? Here's an overview of how our charges work.

Bewdy charges will appear in your transaction as ‘Bewdy’. If you think the price showing is incorrect (different from that stated on the app), please start a chat session from the “Chat Support” button in your Bewdy account, and we’ll have a look.
We’ll need the following details:

  • Order reference
  • Charge

We may also ask for proof (eg. a card statement).
If you’re asked for a supplementary charge during your appointment, please provide us with the following:

  • Order reference
  • Date of appointment
  • Charge involved
  • The reason given for the extra charge

Unless otherwise stated in the terms and conditions of the offer, you should not incur any further cost. We’ll then look into it for you.

Here’s what you can do if you need to:

You can either make a separate booking for the extra treatment or call the salon and check if they’ll have time to squeeze in both treatments. If that’s possible, they can make a note of the changes on their side.

Change the treatment you’ve booked:

In this case, you’ll need to contact the salon to request that they update your booking in the system. Through your Bewdy Account, click on your current booking to load the salon's details - you’ll find all the venue’s contact information there.

We know life can be hectic, and forgetting an appointment is something that happens to the best of us.

That's why we introduced the option to add your appointments to your calendar, so you'll never miss another booking with your favourite salon. 
When you've booked your appointment on the app, the confirmation page will give you an option to 'Add to calendar'. Here you'll be able to select your preferred calendar (we currently support Apple, Google).
If you've booked more than one service, you needn't worry, they'll be listed in the notes, so everything is in order for you.
Just remember, if you reschedule or cancel the appointment, it won't be updated in your calendar.

Rescheduling your appointment on Bewdy App

If you reschedule using the app, your upcoming booking should display on the home screen. If not, select 'My Bookings' at the bottom of the screen. From there, click 'View booking information' on the appointment, then 'Manage booking'. You'll be able to reschedule by tapping 'Change time' and selecting your chosen team member or going directly to the calendar to choose a new time and day. Once you've decided, confirm the information, and your appointment will be changed.

We realise that you may prefer to arrange appointments offline, however Treatwell allows you to manage these bookings online.

When you book an appointment directly with your favourite salon, you’ll receive an email from us with a link to download our app, if you haven’t already. Click on the link, enter your email address, and you’ll be able to manage your offline booking from the app. In addition, you can view your booking history from the previous year, making it easier than ever to rebook your favourite treatments.
Please note: The ability to reschedule or cancel your offline appointments online may not be available for all salons. If the salon you booked does not offer this option, please contact the salon directly to make changes to your booking.

Whenever you book via Treatwell, we let the salon know via email and push notification, and the appointment appears automatically in their calendar software.

Each of those notifications includes the appointment details and whether you’ve chosen to pre-pay for the treatments too.
If the salon you’ve booked with has missed the information and asked you to pay at the salon, your best and quickest option is to contact them to arrange a refund for the extra payment you’ve made.
